Day 01: Kathmandu – Pokhara – Beni

Your Upper Mustang adventure begins early in the morning with a scenic drive from Kathmandu along the Prithvi Highway. Following the Trishuli River, the journey passes through Naubise, Malekhu, Muglin, and Kurintar before reaching the beautiful city of Pokhara. Continuing west via Kushma, travelers will visit the famous Baglung Kalika Temple and the iconic Kushma Suspension Bridge, one of the highest suspension bridges in the world. The drive then proceeds to Beni, the gateway to the Mustang region.

Driving Time: 9 – 10 Hours

Day 02: Beni – Muktinath – Chhusang

After breakfast, the journey continues through the spectacular Kali Gandaki Gorge, the deepest gorge in the world. En route, travelers will pass through Tatopani, Ghasa, Lete, Marpha, and Kagbeni while enjoying stunning views of Dhaulagiri, Nilgiri, and Annapurna mountain ranges. A visit to the sacred Muktinath Temple allows pilgrims and travelers to receive blessings and experience the famous 108 holy water spouts. After exploring Muktinath, continue to the beautiful village of Chhusang for an overnight stay.

Day 03: Chhusang – Lo Manthang – Korala Border – Marpha

Following breakfast, drive deeper into the restricted region of Upper Mustang towards the legendary walled city of Lo Manthang.
